Homelet is a homework-themed community where you can collect pages, care for pets, chat with friends, and write books. This policy explains what information we collect, why we collect it, and the choices you have. If you are under 13, please read this with a parent or guardian.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it to show you ads from other companies.
Your username, profile, and anything you post in chat, books, or the wiki is visible to other players according to the visibility settings you choose. Your email address stays private unless you turn on the setting that makes it public. Private books and private messages are only visible to you and the people you sent them to.
We use automatic filters and human moderators to review reported content and keep the community friendly. This means messages you send may be checked for rule-breaking language. Safety reports may include the relevant message content so our team can act on them.
We only share your information with the companies that help run Homelet (such as hosting and payment providers), when the law requires it, or when we believe it is necessary to protect the safety of our players or enforce our rules. We never share your information for anyone else's advertising.
Homelet is designed for students, and many of our players are kids. If you are a parent or guardian and want your child's information reviewed or deleted, contact us and we will help. Parents may ask at any time for the information we hold about their child.
Your information is stored on secure servers. We use encryption in transit and access controls, but no online service can promise perfect security. Please keep your password secret and never share it.
If we change this policy, we will update the date at the top and, for big changes, announce it in the app. Continuing to use Homelet after a change means you accept the updated policy.
